DOLE-K MR is a combination medication used to treat acute musculoskeletal pain and inflammation, particularly when accompanied by muscle spasms. It is commonly prescribed for conditions such as lower back pain, sprains, strains, arthritis (including osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis), and post-surgical pain.

Composition & How It Works

This “MR” (Muscle Relaxant) formulation typically contains three active ingredients that work together to provide comprehensive relief:

Diclofenac Potassium: A non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces pain and swelling by blocking chemical messengers (prostaglandins).
Paracetamol: An analgesic and antipyretic that reduces fever and enhances pain relief by acting on the central nervous system.
Chlorzoxazone: A muscle relaxant that acts on the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness and spasms, thereby improving movement.

Common Side Effects

While generally well-tolerated, some users may experience:

Nausea, vomiting, or stomach pain.
Heartburn, indigestion, or diarrhea.
Dizziness, drowsiness, or a spinning sensation (vertigo).
Loss of appetite and tiredness.

Important Precautions

Administration: It should be taken exactly as directed by a physician. It is preferably taken after meals with a glass of water to minimize stomach irritation.
Alcohol: Avoid alcohol while taking this medicine, as it increases the risk of drowsiness and severe liver damage.
